South Africa's Zuma calls Mandela's condition 'very serious'
Tue Jun 11, 2013
People like Mr. Mandela will be REMEMBERED with the likes of Ghandi, Mother Theresa, MLK, JFK and Lincoln, no matter what the anonymous cowards with the sick comments are willing to say just to get a tiny bit or acknowledgement from those gullible enough to see the comments for what they are. Mr. Ma …
A revolution in the works? Column
Mon Feb 4, 2013
I think we have just gotten too big in term of both numbers of people and different interests. Too many to make a solid majority on pretty much any topic and sitting ducks for those with the dollars to manipulate the message through mass media to the real majority in the U.S.-- couch potatos more in …
Staggering Stats: Cats Kill Billions of Animals a Year
Tue Jan 29, 2013
Except that they are and invasive(not native) species thanks to us, and not everyone spays/neuters or keeps in the house. These cats are not "natural"... we house and protect them from nature, and too often let them roam outside when they want to.
Police investigate NBC News anchor for displaying gun clip on air
Wed Dec 26, 2012
Plenty of damage w/single shot vs. Semi-auto? Any of us being honest that have shot both know better. W/a single shot, you shoot, open the chamber, put in another round close, cock and can go again. Several seconds have gone by. Vice semi-auto....
Court backs doctor in penis amputation case
Fri Dec 21, 2012
Was overseas in Asia when son was born, the norm there was to circumcise, just like in the U.S., but the people there would go out of their way to cater to us "different" Americans---the doctors even let me give my kids their own vaccinations when I requested it.... the clinics their were not very c …
Gotcha! Adorable never-before-seen photo shows President Obama caught in the web of Spiderman (as played by one of his staffer's children) |
Wed Dec 19, 2012
Seems like the Neocons or the Cons or the Tea Partiers or whatever just can't accept that there can be a true leader who really is human who just might have some compassion for people and for living, rather than just being a lackey for corporate/big business/money interests. I for one am tired of t …
John Bolton claims Clinton faking illness to avoid Benghazi hearing | The Raw Story
Wed Dec 19, 2012
I figure it's a good thing they keep fixating on Benghazi. Keeps showing the American People what they are really all about and they really aren't doing any harm, it lets the real adults focus on real business w/o the immature little kids in the way of getting things done..
: Police arrest man with 47 guns after threatening to 'kill as many people as possible' at ANOTHER elementary school at the SAME TIME as Connecticut massacre |
Sun Dec 16, 2012
Laws need to be in place severely restricting semi-automatics and pistols. Anyone having guns should be required to have proof that they have a means of keeping them locked up (gun safe)so no chance for getting into thewrong hands.
Race for White House Wide Open After Hillary Leaves Office in 2024 - Borowitz:
Wed Dec 12, 2012
I would bet all the money I could muster on a Hillary election as Prez--- against her winning. She would be a great Prez and I think would be tough to beat in the primaries, just as tough to beat in the general election, but has been through a lot of battles, is getting old.
We Need to Kick the Crap out of the GOP on Medicare
Mon Dec 10, 2012
For Medicare AND SS, means testing. Forget age eligibility changes unless absolutely necessary to get a deal, poor health is not limited to the elderly. Get a single payer (govt) as an option back into Obamacare side by side w/private insurers, then we will see if the conservatives are right that pr …
